This month it's all about EC Segar's famous sailor man, who's strong to the finish 'cause he eats his spinach! Popeye, Olive, Wimpy and Bluto feature in some of the finest work Fleischer Studios put out, using physical models for backgrounds, wonderful facial animation, brilliant ad lib dialogue from Jack Mercer and company, and only a very few bits that haven't aged that well. Listen Sesame! ... that doesn't work, does it?
